A personal piece I wrote for the largest and most prestigious news publication in the equestrian world, the Chronicle of the Horse. I was asked to write about what our barn experienced in one of the biggest Equine Herpes Virus outbreaks on record. A news release I wrote on Zymo Research’s first diagnostic product that received FDA Emergency Use Authorization during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The piece was picked up by top publications in the industry and also mainstream media like Yahoo Business.

One of my first published articles, this was for a luxury lifestyle magazine and required research and outreach to local expert surfers to find the best surfing spots in Orange County.
SEO Article
I discovered the high volume searches for the phrase ‘what is Trizol’ and created an outline for the SEO piece in hopes of ranking first for it, and linking one of the sample kits that was made for researchers using Trizol. I got input from expert scientists and heavily edited the article for keyword density. The piece still ranks #1 organically for the phrase “what is Trizol” and has since generated hundreds of new sample kit requests and customers of Zymo Research’s Direct-zol Kit. It is also the top organic page on the Zymo Research website for non-branded traffic.
